Celadon Coturnix Quail Hatching Eggs, gone forever after March 31

from $30.00
  • Jumbo

  • True Blue Line

  • Not Feather Sexable

Didn’t you know blue eggs taste better? LOL. Seriously, they taste the same but gosh they are cute in your egg basket. The celadon is a blue egg gene that must be homozygous to get the blue egg. While it sounds simple, since boys don’t lay eggs, it takes lots of test hatching to insure the boys are true blue and lots or good record keeping. I have been test hatching these birds most of 2023 and finally feel confident to release as true Celadons.

Celadons come in a variety of plumage colors and mine consist of Rosetta, Tibetan, Tuxedo, Range and white. You will get a mix of these plumages. Hopefully down the road, I will have a flock size large enough you can choose your plumage color. None of these are feather seeable and must be vent sexed.

March 31, 2026 will be last day of celadon sales. I will be removing them from my line up and I will only keep a few for Hen’s Choice option for hatching eggs.
