What you need to be successful
Working with a designer, we came up with a feeder that fits on a regular mouth jar. The center is domed to insure quick delivery to the open ports. Chicks should not be able to climb in, but we cannot guarantee a determined one won’t! This will work for adult buttons and coturnix quail up to adult sized. Also great for chicken chicks. Jar not included.
The smaller opening will reduce head shaking and therefore reduce feed waste.

This feeder is also included in the Quail Starter Kit.
The chick waterer is sized for coturnix chicks over one week or grit could be added for smaller chicks. Perfect size for chicken chicks or poults. The flared sides allow larger chicks to easily drink as the side is slanted to work with the beak angle of the chick.
The bases accepts regular mouth jars, pint or quart, not included.

For those who like proven ways, this waterer has a narrow water trough great for coturnix quail from hatch to adult. It does work with buttons also, i do suggest you add some grit to it to prevent a swimming lesson. This is the waterer included in the starter kits, for coturnix and buttons.
It fits on a regular mouth jar, not included, pint or quart.

These are the cartons that hold my large eggs! It holds a dozen and has a snap close. The snap close is important because many have just rubber bands.
I have found the best little cage cups for the button quail! They have metal hooks and a removable grid top. The grid helps reduce feed waste. They are also solid and can be used for water. It hangs perfectly on half inch hardware cloth.
I believe these would work great for the quail and smaller chickens.
I have 2 in each button quail breeding cage and the feed will last a week or so. They are 3.9’ long and 2” tall.
Quail egg shells can be brittle and these scissors make cracking them for your recipes easier and keeps the shell bits out of your dishes.
