Hatching Time
When I realized that Coturnix Quail was a great fit for our farm, I invested in great equipment. Starting with the incubators, a fantastic hatch rate every time with its “set it and forget it” process. I also use the Quail Breeder Cages from Hatching Time, the egg roll outs keep them clean and ready to be packaged for shipment. The no waste feeders keep food clean for a few days to lighten the workload.

Feed and Feeders
Feed is one of the foundations of a great flock. I trust my birds to Kalmbach and Tucker Milling. Tucker is a regional brand in the South but Kalmbach is available on Chewy and feed stores. I also use Fertrell and Show Pro to supplement the Show birds.
Feeders are another game changer. You want something that will last and work. I have gone through many feeders on the farm, some ended up dog chewed and some I love. The ones I love, I now carry in my shop. The one pictured here are for buttons and no waste! I have others from dogs, goats and big birds. Check out the products.
