Jumbo Coturnix Quail

Jumbo Wild Coturnix Quail must exceed 10oz to qualify as jumbo, we strive for a consistent 13 oz live weight with our birds. They begin to lay prolifically at 7 weeks of age and are ready to butcher at 8-10 weeks. They are an easy bird to care for and breed and a favorite for those in a subdivision setting making them perfect for the suburban homesteader who desire both eggs and meat.
We breed our quail for easy feather sexing as young as 3 weeks. We do not breed aggressive birds which has resulted in birds with a very docile temperament making them easy to handle.

We have birds and eggs available for sale year round and each order will contain an original booklet with simple instructions from egg to end.
