Large Fowl Black Cochin

Large Fowl Black Cochins are a massive looking bird, are feathered top to toes and can top 13 pounds at maturity. They have a great demeanor and lay a light brown egg, are slower to mature than other breeds but are well worth the wait. They are a more northern/cold weather bird and therefore not as prevalent in Tennessee. We were able to find fantastic seed fowl for our breeding program from upstate New York and had them shipped here. Currently we are offering pet quality birds as we build our breeding flocks and move to the show arenas.
