See the Bryant's Roost Difference
Watch our Button Quail in one of their grow-out enclosures. Raised on bedding—not wire—they have room to scratch, forage, fly, and express their natural behaviors. We believe healthy, active birds start with an environment that allows them to simply be quail.
This short video gives you a glimpse of the birds you'll receive: curious, energetic, and carefully raised from hatch until they're ready for their new home.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Button Quail are shipped at approximately 6–8 weeks of age, depending on the variety. By this age, they are fully feathered, independent, and ready to join their new home.
-
Yes. Mature Button Quail are sexed before shipping, allowing you to purchase hens, males, or pairs based on availability.
-
Color varieties vary throughout the year. Unless a specific variety is listed, birds are selected based on availability.
-
Mature birds eliminate the need for an incubator, brooder, supplemental heat, and the uncertainty of waiting to determine sex. They're an excellent option if you want to start collecting eggs or establish a breeding flock more quickly.
-
Button Quail are social birds and should not be kept alone. A minimum of four birds is recommended, although breeding is typically done in pairs or trios consisting of one male and two females.

Our Button Quail are raised on bedding—not wire flooring. This allows them to scratch, forage, dust bathe, and express their natural behaviors while making the transition to most customer setups easier.
-
Button Quail require a high-protein feed formulated for game birds. Because they have extremely fast metabolisms, feed should always be available. Bryant's Roost offers a custom Button Quail feed designed specifically for their nutritional needs.
