I have found the best little cage cups for the button quail! They have metal hooks and a removable grid top. The grid helps reduce feed waste. They are also solid and can be used for water. It hangs perfectly on half inch hardware cloth.
I believe these would work great for the quail and smaller chickens.
I have 2 in each button quail breeding cage and the feed will last a week or so. They are 3.9’ long and 2” tall.
Designed by Jennifer of Bryant’s Roost with the bird’s safety and comfort in mind, the feeder and waterer bases meet the needs of coturnix, chickens, Kikiriki, serum, silkies and turkeys! The angle of the waterer have the beak shape in mind. The feeder has a center cone designed to keep feed flowing to the ports.
The jars will fit on pint or quart jars, not included.

Feather Sexable
Jumbo size
Lays large eggs
These are the gold standard for meat and eggs. Large size of over 13oz. Daily egg layers. Easy feather sexability after 18 days. Calm demeanor, not flighty. Sometimes these are also called jumbo browns or jumbo wilds. Also called SLB or sex-linked browns. These are all the same!
The BR meat quail has been bred for years to accomplish the ideal meat bird. Full grown at 8 weeks and will be laying eggs or ready to butcher. I have several cages and you will receive a variety of eggs from different breeder sets to insure as much genetic diversity as I can.
These birds are very quiet and could easily be hidden in an HOA or area where poultry are not allowed.
In the pictures you will see one with speckled chest, that is a girl. The one with the rust colored chest and the white chinstrap is the male.

Are you just getting started with buttons and need all the stuff to go with them? Button quail are a unique niche and Bryant’s Roost has you covered.
We created a small button quail feeder that is the perfect size for up to 10 chicks. The button quail waterer is small enough they cannot drown themselves but large enough to grow with them. The waterer is a base and requires a regular mouth jar- not included. A net is always necessary because when they get loose, and they will! the net will extend to gently scoop them from high or low places. Nets are random colors of purple, yellow, blue, orange and red. The button starter feed is perfectly balanced for those fast metabolisms which makes them so fun to watch!

Available Varieties
Pharaoh Jumbo
The classic Coturnix. Pharaohs are feather-sexable, exceptionally docile, and part of our jumbo breeding program. They produce large eggs when fed a quality diet and are an excellent choice for both egg production and breeding.
Egyptian Jumbo
Often described as the blond cousin of the Pharaoh, Egyptians are feather-sexable, docile, and part of our jumbo line. Their lighter appearance comes from the Roux gene, giving them their distinctive blond coloration while maintaining the productivity and size expected from quality jumbo Coturnix.
Fee Jumbo
Fee quail are feather-sexable and known for their striking black, white, and gray plumage. Our Fee line combines this beautiful color mutation with the larger body size of our jumbo breeding program.
Jumbo White
Our Jumbo Whites are selected for size and productivity while offering the clean, bright appearance that makes white Coturnix so popular. 5 birds max on this variety per box.
Jenn's Choice
Can't decide? Let me choose for you! You'll receive healthy, sexed hens from one of our jumbo breeding groups. They may be Pharaoh, Egyptian, Fee, Jumbo White, or another variety currently available. If you're simply looking for productive hens and aren't concerned about color, this is a great option.
